Door locking system

Steam sterilizable chambers are designed with an automatic latching system in accordance with standard pressure code for the rated design pressure.

SERAIL positive safety system consists of using several latches – hammers – around the chamber with a rotation of 90° (front door) or “U“ sections on three sides of the door (sub-door).

Those hammers devices are associated with SERAIL’s double gasket system (one inflatable gasket for SIP cycle / one o-ring gasket for vacuum tightness).

Once the door is closed and latching device rotated,the inflatable gasket pushes the door against the latches or the “U“ sections (sub-door) without friction or particulate generation.
